We took a little detour on the way to Smiths Hotel for some romantic photographs.
I actually thought that David and Joanne were a little shy when I first met them but on the day they were amazing to work with and they had a cool calmness about them that I loved! They didn't object to any of my suggestions they just posed as I asked and I think they look amazing! Their day was tinged with a little sadness as Joanne's sister who would have been bridesmaid was stuck abroad unable to get back because of the flight restrictions in the UK from the recent volcano in Iceland.
Back at Smiths we took some pictures inside the new lounge area of the hotel. I love these images.

Wow I didn't realise that Joanne's sister did make it to the party at 12.45am on Sunday morning after a 2,000 mile car, boat and train dash. What a great ending to a brilliant day!
